Maternity Pictures!

A couple weeks ago I had our friend Melissa Martinson: Simply Be Photography take some maternity pictures! It was so much fun, I'll admit its a little weird taking pictures with the main focus on the belly but I think they are CUTE! I've really enjoyed being pregnant and wanted something I could look at and remember the experience, pictures are the best MEMORIES!! I was thinking too it would be fun to see pictures of my mom pregnant so I could compare and see what she looked like, now Ill have some if my kids are ever curious! Dan had a hard time with the main focus being the belly, my guess is there just not normal pictures so its weird to him. He did like them and think they were cute though, just weirded out :)! He must love me lots to go along with my crazy ideas!!! Melissa did an awesome job, she had fun ideas and locations. We will definitely use her in the future! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

4 years ago today Dan and I sealed our lives together for eternity! I cant believe that it has been 4 yrs already, but yet it seems like we've been together forever! I didn't think I could ever LOVE someone as much as I love Dan! He makes me the happiest women in the world! The first year was a little rocky but the other 3 have been awesome!! Our friendship, relationship has grown so close and STRONG! I am so excited to see Dan be a father, I think he is going to make an amazing dad! There's just something about the thought of seeing him holding our child, that we've created, that just brings butterflies and excitement to my heart! I know that he is so excited and cant wait for him to get here! Life with Dan is so easy and perfect! I am so blessed that I found such a wonderful husband, friend, and lover! I am so excited for the next many many years to come and the events that they will bring. Thank you Dan for making me so happy and loving me with all of your heart!  

3 More Showers!

On Saturday the 14th I had 2 showers one from my dads side of the family (Roberts), and one from my moms side (Carters). The majority of the families live in Henefer and Morgan so we had them down there so more could make it. I had them on the same day so that I didn't have to drive down 2 separate times. From both showers I ended up getting 3 bouncers :). Its just like when you get married you get like 5 crock pots. :) It was so much fun and I got a lot of good gifts!! The Carter shower wasn't your typical shower, we called it a Baby BBQ! My mom and I were talking about how the Fathers/guys get forgotten about so we decided to have everybody come, Dan wasn't real sure about the idea he kept saying "Guys dont go to baby showers!" It turned out really good, I think we counted like 45-50 of us. It was tons of fun to get together with everyone! It's surprising so many of us can get together and we really have a good time with each other! Thanks mom for throwing me the shower....oops baby BBQ!

On the 21st my friends threw me a shower! It wasn't a huge party but it was my closest friends so it was PERFECT. It was so good to get together with everyone and catch up on everyone's life! Seeing everyone really made me realize how much I miss my friends and how much fun it is to hang out with them! I hope that we can spend more time together! Thank you Trisa for putting it all together, it was AWESOME!!

Ward Shower!

Last night Erin and Darci threw me a shower from my ward! It was tons of fun and a really good turn out! I got a lot of good gifts: blanket, clothes, carrying back pack, toys, dishes, and a warmer for the car seat, etc. Thank you everyone for everything you brought and for coming it was so good to hang out with everyone! Thank you Erin and Darci it was so much fun, I really appreciate all the time you put into it!!

NewMyer Shower!!

Maryann (Dan's sister) threw me a baby shower for the NewMyers on Sat. the 7th! We played guess Tanya's 30 favorite things, Memory matching of baby/pregnancy related words, and find the safety pins in the white rice. It was a ton of fun. They made soup and soup bowls and peach cobbler for dessert. I got a lot of good gifts! Still need lots of stuff but were getting there! Thanks Maryann it was so much fun!!!

Belly Picture update 28 weeks. I also had an appointment on the 4th. Everything is still on schedule and his heart sounded good! They checked my glucose, I had to drink an orange drink; not real sure what it does but I just do what Im told! :) They called me on Monday and said all of my test results were good! We are so blessed that we've had such a good and healthy pregnancy/baby! I start going every 2 weeks now, its getting CLOSER!!!! I cant believe it, it seems like i've been pregnant forever but its crazy its almost here!!

Nursery update!!

We got the bedding last Tuesday! It was so much fun setting it all up! The curtains that came in the set were way too long and not wide enough so I put my sewing skills to the test! They're not perfect but they'll work. Its looking more and more like a complete nursery with every little addition! There are a few more things that I want but just haven't found exactly what I want. Its getting there though.

I think we've found a name for our little boy, Teydon Blake!! What do you think??? Dan came up with it, we were on our way to henefer for the weekend so we thought we would talk about baby names, kill the time. We said a lot of names then Dan said Taydon Blake I loved the way it sounded but i didnt really like the ay it looks to girlie to me. So I wasnt really set on it, Sunday my dad was over and he was watching football and they mentioned Peyton Manning and I remembered its spelled with an ey but sounds like ay. I got so excited and tried to explain it to Dan and for a min he thought I wanted to name him Peyton, silly boys. So then we both really liked Teydon, once we figured out the spelling!! For now that's his name, were still up for suggestions but I think I'm pretty crazy about Teydon Blake!!!

I had a Dr. Appt. today I'm 24 weeks into it, 16 more weeks to go WOW CRAZY!! I have an appointment in 4 weeks (28 weeks) then I go every two weeks!!! I was thinking about it today and in 7 weeks Ill be 31 weeks along with SINGLE DIGIT weeks left to go!!! Ah I dont know if I'm ready for that. It seems like I've been pregnant forever, but I am loving every minute of it. I love the little nudges! I keep trying to get Dan to feel him but as soon as Dan touches my tummy he stops moving, so he's either SHY or Dan just has the right touch to calm him down! There was one time he was kicking pretty hard but Dan said he could barely feel it, just need my little guy to get stronger. I cant wait for him to feel it, to have an opportunity to feel a little of what I feel! It is so crazy the feeling of a little baby moving inside, I tell Dan it TICKLES :)! Its really hard to explain the feeling but I LOVE IT!

Nursery Update!!

We picked up our crib and changing table last Saturday!! Having them in my house i could not just let them sit there in the box so we finished painting the paneling Tuesday and set them up Tues. night!!! I don't have a picture of the crib yet Ill post it later. I also found the bedding that I want it should be here sometime this week YEAH!! Ill post a picture of the nursery when its all put together!

Were having a hard time finding a name that we both like so if anybody has any suggestions were listening. I like unique names! Some that Ive suggested is Rydon, Kolden, Hadson but nothing has really clicked. Good thing we have awhile before our little guy will be here don't want him to be nameless. :) Im getting more and more excited for a little boy. I found the CUTEST baby beanie @ Old Navy, its so tiny!! I don't want my little guy to get cold! Im starting to find more and more cute boy stuff, there's definitely not alot of options out there but with some searching you can find it! Its been really fun putting the nursery together and seeing everything coming together!! I am so excited for this new experience in my life. It will be a change in our life but were ready and excited for our little addition!!

Is it BLUE of PINK???

We went to the Dr. yesterday and found out were having a ..................BOY!!!!Everything looks really good and hes right on schedule! I was happy with whatever boy or girl so Im not like way excited cause it didn't matter, but I think it will be fun figuring out a little boy. I know girls pretty good from watching two of them so it'll be fun to see the difference between boys and girls. Dan was way excited because this will be the 1st NewMyer boy! They're going to be best buds!! Im just glad that my little boy is healthy and doing good! He was shy we kept trying to get a picture of his face but he'd keep his arms and hands in front of it, he gets that from his mom! Towards the end he finally let us have a peek for like 3 secs. We got a bunch of pics but there really hard to see what your looking at. The ultra sound tech said there was no doubt that it was a boy. We were like a minute into the ultrasound when she asked if we wanted to know the sex, as soon as we said yes, she said "There's boy parts!, your having a boy!" Throughout the whole thing she'd point out the boy parts! So its definitely a BOY!! Im so excited to finally know, now I can go buy boy stuff and we can pick out a name!!

Nursery update we have all of the paneling up were just waiting for it to be painted! The cribs @ JcPenney finally went on SALE! We bought the crib and changing table last Thurs. it should be here end of this week, first of next. Hopefully the nursery is painted by then cause I don't think I can just let them sit in the box!!

NURSERY!!

I have found the bedding that I want for a boy and for a girl so which ever it is Im ready for it! :) In my searches I found this bedding (girl) that I love and also feel in love with the paneling on the walls. Either boy or girl the bedding has brown and it so happens that we have a spare bedroom painted about the same color as the picture. The only painting we'll have to do is the paneling. Last night we went and bought the supplies and took off the base and casing in the brown room! Im so excited and cant wait for it to be finished! I also have my nursery furniture picked out just waiting for it to go on sale!! Its about the same dark brown as the crib in the picture! I cant get the smile off my face when I think about the nursery and the baby!!! I am so HAPPY and EXCITED!!

Here is a belly picture at 18 weeks! :) I have no torso so its definately going to be an outty belly! Im so excited to have a "baby belly" I think its so cute and fun. We find out if its BLUE or PINK on Sept. 8th YAY!! Two weeks today!! Everybody has there guess and its about half and half! Ive done some of the "wives tales" and quizes and its 53% boy 47% girl! So I have no idea what precious little baby is growning inside! But whatever it is I dont care as long as its healthy!! I love you no matter what!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!

Even though theres not alot to tell but I feel like I've been very busy. We've been to the Aquatic Center a couple of times. We had NewMyer family camp the end of July, we went up Cub River. It was tons of fun we went up Thursay night and home Sunday afternoon. I like over nighters better but if I only have to do a whole weekend once a summer I'm ok with that! It was my birthday on the 18th, I had the day offf and Dan got off at 1:30. I got to sleep in till 10, got ready when Dan got home we went on a picnic to Mack Park. We went to dinner with friends , rented a movie, and opened presents. It was tons of fun and good to spend some alone time with Dan!!

This weekend we went to Bear Lake, kinda for my birthday and just for fun!! Some of Dan's family came and a bunch of Nickoles (My sister in-law) family. Dan and I and Steve and Nickole went over Friday and spent the night in our (well dan's boss and Nickoles parents :) ) boats. It wasnt the best nights rest but it was still fun! Then we boated and played on the beach all day.

I am so happy with my life! Everything is perfect I wouldnt change anything about it. I have so many people around me that love and care for me! I have the best husband, he always makes me smile and I cant WAIT to see him every morning and at the end of every day. I am so excited for our future together and the many adventures that have yet to come! Thank you everyone for making my birthday so perfect! I love you all!!

Back to work!

Maryann's 7 weeks was up on Wednesday, so my vacation is over. Well not really vacation since I got pregnant and had morning/all day sickness. But for 3 days now I have been feeling GOOD! Yea!!! Im so excited, its true what they say 12 weeks and it goes away! Its been busy with 2 kids glad I'm only starting out with one. Especially yesterday both Kamry and Kendra were crying how to settle 2 kids at the same time, we managed but it was touch -n- go. :) New borns are pretty easy though all they do is sleep, eat, and poop, they dont move or nothing. And watching Kamry makes me even MORE excited for our baby!! Its been awhile since I've been on but not much has gone on, the fourth we watched fireworks, Dans brother Mike got married and other than that just baking a baby! Hopefully now that Im back working Ill be able to update my blog more.

I had my 1st Dr. appt. yesterday, it was so exciting to see and hear our baby! It really made it real, which I have been waiting for and just needed an extra confirmation. The Dr. said that everything looked good so far! The heart beat was good too, 158 beats per min. He also said that I was only 9 weeks along istead of 10/almost 11 weeks and moved my due date to January 25th! The baby didnt measure long enough for 10 weeks. But as long as its healthy I dont really care if I have to wait 10 days! It is such an amazing thing what we women can do, create a little child!! The whole process, experience is just so incredible to me and I'm so excited for everything!! Thank you everyone for your congrats and support!!

GUESS WHAT................

WERE GONNA HAVE A BABY!!! WE FOUND OUT ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO! MY DUE DATE IS JANUARY 15 2010, I'M 9 WEEKS 4 DAYS ALONG!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED AND CAN'T WAIT TO ADD THIS NEW LITTLE ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY!

He's here!!

My Dad has officially moved to Smithfield!!! He only lives 4 blocks away from me! I'm so excited to have him living so close. We spent Sat and Sunday packing and unpacking his stuff! My grandma and 2 aunts came out and helped us, even though its not much fun packing it was still good to spend some family time together! He's almost got all of his boxes unpacked. My brother lives with him in a 1 bedroom house, that they're renting, my bro's room is in the laundry room! His bed fit perfect in there! Its a lil small but I think it works great for them! Hopefully it doesnt take them too long to get use to the city life, neighbors, and noises! My dad has spent the last 12 yrs in Snowville, its just a little change. ;) I love living in the city! I dont think I'll ever live in the country again, so maybe some of that will rub off onto my dad!!

Fun at the Park!!

Yesterday my cousin and her kids came up to my house to spend the day with me and to get out of the house. She packed a picnic so we walked to Mack Park where there was some shade to eat in. Not having any of my own kids I didnt realize how far of a walk it is for kids. We live on 582 N 1st E and the Park is on 100 N 2nd E so it took us a little longer than I expected but we made it there and back. I'm so gald its warm outside the Park is a perfect place for kids to get there energy out. While the kids played I got to hold and play with the baby Brayden he's a month and 2 Days old already. They grow up so fast. He is such a cute little boy! It was so good to get to spend some time with my cuz, we live an hour and half away from each other so we dont get to see each other very often. I can't wait for the next time we get to play!

Memorial Weekend!

Over memorial weekend we had the 1st NewMyer Family camp. Dan's brother in-law is an Eliason and they own a ranch out in Snowville so since it was still cool enough outside we decided to go mem. weekend. Having lived in snowville it wasnt really camping to me but it was still fun. We went 4wheelin on the Eliason ranch Sat. (which having lived in snowville I never knew about Eliason Ranch :)) Monday my dad took us 4wheelin up Black Pine, I've been their a few times that where we usually go because its not very far from our house. Their is an old Gold mine up there that is closed but there is still a HUGE hole so we took Dan's family to see that. It rained on us a little but it still was tons of fun. Dan learned this trick at Y.M. Camp and loves to teach everybody you take a grasshopper cookie take tiny bites off oppisite ends then suck up hot chocolate through the cookie. It melts in your MOUTH. Delicious. So we showed his family how to do it, they loved it. It turned out to be a really good Family camp not very many were able to come but it was tons of fun!! Can't wait until next camp!

They started Maryann at 1p.m. she had 40 mins of contractions and only 3 pushes and Baby Sister was out. They are both doing great and get to go home tonight!! Kamry looks so much like Kendra when she was a baby but Kamry has more hair its just white so its hard to see! I could just hold Kamry all day shes so cuddly and precious. Kendra already loves her lil sister so much! She's going to be a good big sister! Kendra has been staying at our house since Tues night its been fun to have her and to experience this with her. Its crazy I use to be so scared to hold a baby and now I cant get enough of them. Good thing I have two in my family I can play with!!
