Baby # 2 coming...........

I had my first Dr. appt today! Baby #2 is due June 30 2013! Everything looks great, 2 arms, hands, legs and feet and 1 head. It's measuring 4.45 cm. I am 11 weeks 2 days along. My mom was able to come down and go to the ultrasound with us, it was fun having her there. It was also so much fun having Teydon there, he loved listening to the heart beat and seeing the baby. I think it made it more real for him and now we have pics that I can show him to remind him of whats growing in mommies tummy. When we were listening to the heart beat and it measures the beats, it showed the measurements (spikey things) Teyd called it a shark, so our nickname for our little jelly bean is now little shark. And thats how it's been treating me too, like a shark,  the morning sickness has been so much worse this go around. With Teyd I only threw up 3 times this one I have thrown up 6 times, mornings are the worst and it takes me until 1 or 2 to be able to do anything. Most days I can get food to settle my upset stomach other days nothing helps and its just a sick day. I knew when I was 3.5 weeks along that I was pregnant, smells were way strong (bath and body works), I was always hungry, my breasts were the most noticable change- growing and tender (sorry if thats TMI). Sickness didnt kick in until 7 weeks but has been full force since then. We told close family when I was 5 weeks by having Teyd wear his sweatshirt, it took some people awhile to notice it and others not long at all. It was a fun way to announce it and Teydon was able to be a part of it, thou he wasnt exactly sure what it meant. We are excited and a little nervous for our new addition, good thing we have 6+ months to get prepared for it. Hoping we adjust well to two kids. I am glad we waited as long as we did, Teydon will be almost 3.5 yrs old and already is pretty indepentant and can take care of himself for the most part and entertain himself. By the time the "Shark" is here he'll be a pro, he's had to take care of himself alot with me being sick and tired all the time, he's such a good, awesome kid. I think he'll have a lot of fun with the baby, it'll take him a little adjusting to not having our full attention but I still think he'll have fun with it. I am so excited to start feeling better, hopefully soon, so I can start to enjoy this pregnancy. Life is good!!!

Christmas tree hunting!

We usually go out to Snowville and get a tree, family tradition but decided this year we wanted to find one somewhere closer, I found out from a neighbor that Preston had tree permits for only $10, sweetness! Well today we went there and they were all sold out, sold out last Friday. So we had to go to plan B, buy one from a lot. We decided to stop and Tony's Grove and found Santa there too! Teydon liked talking to Santa and hanging out with him but would not sit on his lap, even when we got baby Kasen to sit with him he wouldn't do it. He told Santa that he wanted jingle bells for Christmas, haven't heard that one before. Before we left the house he told me he wanted a helicopter. I love this age it is so much fun and so cute, minus the tantrums.
We were able to find us a tree after looking and chasing Teydon around for an hour and a half.

Halloween

I kept asking Teyd what he wanted to be for Halloween and all he would ever say is "what do I wanna be, hmmmmmmm" with his finger on his lip. One night we watched the Avengers and he fell in LOVE with The Hulk or as he calls him "the Green One." I knew that's what I would have him be so my mom and I created his costume, he loves it, I say loves cause he still wears it. He loved having his face painted and continues to ask me to paint his face. It was so much fun this year taking him trick or treating, we had a blast with him. After he was tuckered out we went home and grandma Susan came over and watched Teyd while Dan and I went to the haunted forest at Sherwood hills. Well we tried to got to the haunted forest anyways, we were on our way out when I decided to look it up and see the hours, and come to find out they had cancelled the forest this year. So we went and rented a scary movie and watched it at ARS on the projector, we thought about taking one home but it was only 8:30 so Teyd still would've been awake and wouldn't let us watch one so that's why we watched it at ARS. Watching it there made it even more scary!

Hunting!

We went elk hunting with my dad the first weekend in Oct. We took our trailer up and camped out on the mountains. Teydon wanted to go walking so him and I walked, while dad rode a horse away from us looking for elk, I kept trying to get him to turn around or go a different way but he insisted on finding grandpa and walking to him, even though I told him papa was a LONG ways away. I was so proud of my little buddy he walked probably 1.5 miles up and down hills, until he got to a pretty big hill and only got half way up and he broke down and just started crying, poor little guy, he had walked his limit and couldn't go any further. I was stuck in the middle of the mountain with the 4wheeler 1.5 miles away and a crying 30 lb kid (with all his winter clothes on, it was cold). I had no idea how I was going to get him back, I couldn't carry him that far on flat ground let a lone up and down hills. So I called in a life line and had Daddy come and save us, luckily he was only on the other side of the mountain so it didn't take long for him to get to us. Once at the top of the hill my step mom saw us and came and rescued us in the rhino. Once we got to where they were parked Teydon had got his energy back and was off on other adventures. Which those adventures were not the greatest cause he ended up falling on a cactus and getting little ones stuck all over in his leg and pants. Like mother like son, when I was 2 I sat on a cactus. Daddy again had to come to our rescue and help get them out, good thing for daddies. Teydon brings so much joy and adventures to our lives we love him so much and are so grateful for him.

California Vacation

My grandma took the whole family to San Diego, Cali for a family vacation. She rented a beach house with our own personal pool and hot tub! Teydon loved playing in the hot tub. It was the best vacation ever!! We feel in love with San Diego and the beach! We stayed there 8 days. I miss it so much and wanna go back! I don't think I could live there, WAY too many people but I will visit again for sure! We drove at night so that Teydon would sleep most of the way, it worked out really good. It's definitely a very long drive but it was the cheapest way to go, and wasn't too bad.
We had body boards that we took with us to the beach, they were a BLAST!! Teydon loved to chase the waves and playing in the sand! It was just the best, fun, relaxing, vacation. While we were there we went to Sea World, twice, San Diego Zoo, and the Safari. Sea World was our favorite, I love Shamu! Teydon loved riding on the kiddie rides! Teydon got a stuffed polar bear from Sea World and has slept with it every night since. It was so much fun to spend a week with my grandma, aunts, and cousins. We really only get together for holidays and you know how busy holidays are so it was so nice to spend time hanging out! I am so blessed with awesome family!
