FEBRUARY

February was filled with love in all its forms! For family home evening we tried our best with a 2 yr old to have a lesson, which turned into looking just at pics but it was something. Then we made rice crispy treats as a family and cut them out with heart shaped cookie cutters! Ofcoarse we celebrated the DAY OF LOVE, with Olive Garden brought home for lunch (nap time was our babysitter), presents, flowers, and spending quality family time together. We attended a Benefit Auction for Dan's niece and witnessed the love of others and their generosity for those in need! The auction was a huge success and recieved the money needed to cover medical bills for awhile! I've had the oppurtunity to help in raising money for them (through my business with Usborne) and it has been very gratifying to be able to help someone in need. I am so grateful for Usborne and all the oppurtunities it has given me. Im working on a challenge with them to earn an iPad3!! I've got to sell a certain amount for 4 months and Usborne is giving us them. It's been a little stressful getting my numbers in but it will be all worth it when I have my iPad in my hands! We've also been snowmobiling a few times, my camera card is full and havent had the chance to clear it out so there are no recent pics. I need to clear it out so that I have pics and memories! I also went to my best friends Baby Shower in Snowville, Im so excited for her and the new bundle of joy they are bringing into this world. It's her first, she's having a little boy Bentley, can't wait to hold and snuggle him. Another of my friends had a little girl, Munroe, on the 22nd! I got to go to the hospital and hold the precious little girl, I love newborns! I like all my friends having babies so I can just go and play with theirs and not have to have another one yet, take care of the baby hunger through theirs.  Life is good and so grateful for our very very many blessings!

Ride 2.11.12

We went on a snowmobile ride with my dad, and Ethan (my step bro.),  up Franklin Basin. We had a BLAST! We only got lost a couple of times. ;) This ride we wanted to get to know the area better so it was one of those get lost days. It was a very eventful ride from my dad's sled breaking down, Ethan nose diving his slep, Ethan falling off his sled twice, to me sliding down a hill on my bum (instead of riding my sled down 'cause it was too steep for me). We all made it out alive so it was a very successful ride! I love snowmobiling and how it gets us into nature to enjoy God's beautiful creations. Plus, it's just one on one time between Dan and I, LOVE THAT! 

My 1st Photo Shoot!

My bestest friend is having her 1st baby boy, her due date is April 18, 2012. We wanted to have some fun and take some maternity pictures. They turned out SO CUTE! The first 3 pics are my favorite! They turned out pretty good for my 1st photo shoot ever! Definetly some improvements I can make. I am so excited for her!  Atleast my birthday present (Canon Rebel T3 camera) is coming in handy!

2 yr Check Up!

I still can not believe I have a 2 year old!! Teydon's Dr. Appt. went very good. In and out in 36 min. The best part for Teydon NO SHOTS!! He's all caught up on his immunizations. Ya! Dan had to work and wasn't able to come with me so I'm super glad we didn't have to do shots. It's so sad to have to hold him down. He is growing well! He is FINALLY in the double digits in his percentile for weight, Ya! Weight 25.2 lbs, 20%; Height 33 in, 25%, head 19 3/4 in, 90%-at least he's got a big brain! :) The doctors office I go to has done his foot prints (on a check up card) at every check up, just a cute, little memorabilia for MOM! :) Well this time, since his feet are getting too big for the card, they did his hand print. Teydon was pretty excited to see his hand print  on the card, he got to pick the color out and everything! He is not very comfortable at the Dr., he remembers past experiences :(, but he did really good this time. Until we got to the part where the Dr pushes on his stomach and checks his private part, he does not like that AT ALL! Over all it was a very good appt. I am so grateful he is growing so well!

Teydon's Accomplishments and New Discoveries:

-says around 30 words

-says little sentences, hi mom, hi dad, Papa's aye (ya), all gone/done, well well well

-loves Elmo, Cars, The Grinch, Ice Age, Bambi

-can jump and get his feet a little off the ground

- he walks around like a dinosaur and roars while doing it (SUPER CUTE)

- he will at least try to copy words you ask him to say

- has very good hand/eye coordination: he can hit a nail with a hammer

-loves animals

-his new favorite stuffed animal is a harley dog

-loves trucks, tractors, planes, trains, buses

- loves to push buttons

- loves to dance around the house to music (mom joining in)

- loves to help; laundry, cooking

- he still takes 1 nap, anywhere from 2-3 hrs

- sleeps around 10 hrs at night, falls to sleep with blankets, stories, and rocking

- foods: hot dogs, noodles, chicken nuggets, toast, fruits, olives, tomatoes



Teydon is 2!!

Dan and I took Teydon to the Union Train Station in Ogden, for his birthday! Dan had been on a vaction in Island Park with his boss, Teydon and I picked him up in Tremonton then headed to the station. We had not seen daddy since Sunday. Teydon was very excited and happy to have his daddy back! Teydon loved the train station, he wanted to play with the toy trains SO BAD! Good thing they were behind windows or he would have. He loved climbing on the big trains outside! He got so excited and loved watching the front runner go by!! After the train station we went to my dad's aka PAPAS!! For a little birthday party all those who attended were Papa, grandma Sami, Ethan, Steve, Nickole, dad and mom! We had nummy pizza, cake, and PRESENTS! Teydon Loves to open presents. We had a blast playing with the nerf guns he got from his favorite uncle Steve! We love that little boy so much and are so grateful to have him in our lives! We can not believe he is 2 ALREADY!?! Where does the time go? It goes by WAY too fast!
We planned a party for Teydon on the 4th a Saturday (that way more people could make it-those that live far away :( ) He had tons of family; Great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins- a full house around 30 total! So grateful we have our basement finished and a place to put everybody! Teydon loves Elmo so thought it was only appropriate to have an elmo themed party! My mom and I decorated his cake, it turned out pretty stinking cute!  We want to thank those that helped and that were able to come. We are so grateful for our families and we love you all so much! We are so very blessed!

Jacob Chapter 5

In YW's we have been given the challenge to read the Book of Mormon in 100 days (I'm a little behind schedule but i'm readying and studying it so that's what is important.) I have "read" the BOM before but this time I have really been studying, pondering and praying for more understanding. I've thought as I read what does the Lord want me to learn from this scripture. I've also been writing down my feelings and my understands in a journal as I read. I have really noticed a difference this time reading it, I understand things more, I feel the spirit so STRONGLY!! I feel the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon!! I love this gospel, I love the scriputers, I love my savior Jesus Christ and the love that he has for ME!! The reason I titled this post Jacob 5 is because that is the chapter I just finished reading and for the 1st time I understood the story of the Vineyard. It wasn't just a vineyard of trees, it was a vineyard of Christs people, his righteous people. He scattered them so that he could presever them. So that he could nourish them and bring them back to righteousness. No matter how corrupt we become our Savior will always love us and always wants us to come back to him! In verse 41 the Lord of the Vineyard weeps because his vineyard has turned wild and he wonders what could I have done more for my vineyard? Christ weeps for us and wants us to follow him, he sends his servants to teach us and bring us back to him. In verse 61 he calls for his servants to labor diligently ... that we may prepare the way, that I may bring forth again the natural fruit, which natural fruit is good and the most precious above all other fruit. I am so thankful for Christ and the love he has for me, and  that no matter what I do he will always love me and I can return to live with him if I live my life righteously and if I turn my life to him. I also know that I am called to be his servant and to help bring others unto his gospel, I need to be a better servant of the Lord. I am so grateful for the plan that our Heavenly Father has for each of us and I am so grateful for his guidance and comfort in my life.

Fundraiser for Sadie NewMyer
