I can't believe all the holidays are over. Time really really flies when you have a baby/toddler. November and December flew by! Thanksgiving was delicious. We ate 2 meals, we went to Dan's mom's in the early afternoon then to my dads that evening. My dads was eventful, we deep fried a turkey at my dads but forgot some of the ingredients so Dan had to go back to Newton to get it. Then their oven quit working, it wouldn't heat up. Then my aunts keys got locked in the car. We did get to enjoy the delicious meal! We went and got our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. We have enjoyed the snow, we went snowmobiling the Sat after Thanksgiving. We went and saw the lights at Temple Square with my dads side of the family. It was fun to see the lights, its crazy how many lights they can put on one tree. The temple is so pretty in the night!

We enjoyed work, ward, and SAR Christmas parties. We went on a snowmobile ride Christmas Eve day with Dan's brother Steve, his wife, her brothers, and my dad. It was a lot of fun! After the ride we went to Dan's mom's for presents, rice crispies and chocolate milk! Teydon was a lot of fun with Christmas, once we showed him his stocking and toys from Santa he went right to them and played with his trucks. Unwrapping presents, once you started it for him he would pull at the wrapping paper but as soon as it was unwrapped and emptied he was moving on to the next. Not real interesting in what was inside except for him walker toys! By the time we made it to my grandparents he was pretty bored with the unwrapping things :)! We enjoyed spending time with family! ! Christmas morning my dad and Sami came over to watch us open presents. Then that afternoon my mom and Sam came and we opened more presents. It was nice to spend the day just at home being lazy. We got lots of good stuff!

New Years Eve we went to Dan's moms she had a party out there. Teydon did really good about staying up the whole time! He did have cousins to play with so sure that kept him going. We toasted sparkling cider and shared a kiss. We were home and in bed by 1, Teydon sooner than that he feel asleep in the car! New Years Day we went for a COLD ride! There was some nice powder, besides the cold part it was an awesome day of riding! We really enjoyed our holidays and sad to see them over. We are so thankful for all of our blessings, family and friends. And so excited for the year to come and all its adventures!

Teydon is 11 MONTHS!!

Wow where does the time go? How can I make it slow down? I can not believe that I have an 11 month old. He is so much fun though and my love is growing even deeper for him!

His accomplishments/personality:

• He claps his hands
• Waves
• Sometimes signs more but by capping not finger tips together :)
• Is so close to walking, he walks along things (walls, couches) and got 2 walker toys for Christmas and loves to walk behind them! He has taken 1 or 2 steps by himself but then chickens out and goes to his butt.
• Loves music every time he hears it he dances!
• Has started to throw fits when he gets taken away from something he's not supposed to have. :(
• Smiles when you tell him no, then continues doing what he's not suppose to. Its so hard not to laugh/smile at him.
• Crawls up stairs really good
• Just learned a couple days ago to crawl down the stairs BACKWARDS, YAY! But will still stop and sit on the stair he just crawled to.
• Loves to ride the snowmobile with daddy!
• LOVES daddy! Cries when he leaves for work, or leaves period.
• Loves toilets and toilet bowl brushes. YUCK! We now close the door to the bathrooms.
• Loves to play in the bath tub! Stands up pretty much the whole time :).
• Hates to have his diaper changed
• Hates to get dressed/undressed. Guessing he has more important things to do.
• Most of our cabinets have locks on them now, we got tired of putting things away.
• Loves to empty out the dishwasher.
• Loves the vacuum will follow me all over the house! He like to touch it, like the vibration I guess.
• Likes to copy us and thinks its funny when we make the same noises he does.
• Daddy can get him to laugh the hardest and the longest.
• Loves his grandparents.
• Likes to play with his cousins.
• His first word was mum. :) Can say ha-aka hot and puts his hand up to feel the heat, and dad-the newest word he learned.

We are so thankful everyday for Teydon in our lives! He has brought so much joy and happiness to us! I love being a mother!

Teydon is 9 months!

9 months seriously my little guy CANT be that old already :(. We went to his 9 month check up on the 3rd 17 lbs 5 oz-3%, 28 in long-50%, head 18.5 in-90%, at least his brain is growing :). He is healthy and thats all that matters to me. On the downside we found out that Teyd has 2 ear infections, it couldn't have worked out better to have his Dr. appt. the same time he has an ear infection, saved us a trip to the docs. I knew something was going on with him the day before he took a 3.5 hr nap, which is unusual, he was grumpy that night, he woke up with a fever and at the doctors he was upset whenever anyone touched him and he's usual happy and plays with them. When the dr. was looking at his ears he usually takes a quick look then moves on but this time he kept looking and Teyd was screaming, Dan had to hold him on his lap and hold his head against his chest it was sooooo sad, I knew then he had an ear infection. I think we're doing pretty good though this is the first time he's been sick. October was a BUSY BUSY month and went by way too fast. Over Oct. 16th weekend Dan and I went to Lake Powell, my friend Sabrina got married down there. It was so beautiful and unique. It was our first time leaving Teydon over night(s), the hardest part was leaving him. Once we were there it wasn't too bad but on the way home it hit me how much I missed him. It was a lot of fun! My grandma and 2 aunts came and stayed with us for a week, we ate a lot, shopped, quilted, got massages, and just hung out. It was so much fun having them stay with us, the house was defenitly lonely when they left. It was Dan's birthday on the 28, he's 27, he had search and rescue so thats what he did. We had a dinner for him Wedn. at my dads and he opened presents before he left for SAR, nothing too crazy. We went to the aggie auction and won-$200 at Macey's, $50 Carls Jr., and 12 pizzas from Papa Murphy's, it was a lot of fun. If we go hungry its our fault :)! Halloween hmmm what halloween, lets just say I totally was not in the Halloween spirit this year, no costumes, no candy. :( To my defense we weren't even home, we were putting a roof on his mom's house. Next year I'm totally gonna be in the spirit.

TEYDON'S 9 MONTH ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• He has 4 teeth (1st one on Sept. 22)
• Pulls himself up onto things
• Gets into EVERYTHING
• Loves to open drawers
• Will eat pretty much anything
• Gives thee sweetest kisses- if you don't mind a little bite at the end :)
• Hates to get hurt
• Is a huge daddy's boy
• Would rather put himself to sleep than fall asleep in your arms, which is good that he can put himself to sleep but he doesn't cuddle anymore :(
• Will dance when he hears music
• Can wave, with a closed fist :)
• He's pretty brave he'll dive off of the couch, I'm trying to teach him to turn around and go feet first instead head
• Will play peek a boo/hide and seek, we'll crawl behind a couch and he'll come find us, bumping his head into ours

He continues to bring happiness and joy to our family everyday. Im sad that he is growing so fast but loving it at the same time. I love his personality and love this age he can entertain himself, smiles, plays, and laughs with us. He's mobile and a lot of fun. I went and saw my friends 3 week old baby, he was so tiny, slept a lot, and cuddly, it made me miss my little cuddly baby, guess thats why people have more than one kid to revisit the newborn stage. NO, were not ready for another one not for a long time. I am so thankful for my life and all of my blessings I have an amazing husband who is a wonderful father and I have the cutest little guy as my son. I LOVE MY LIFE!!

Teydon Updates!

Teydon turned 8 months on the 1st, can't believe its been 8 months already. His first tooth on the bottom poked through on the 22nd of September, it is one SHARP little guy. His second one on the bottom poked trough yesterday and it looks like his top two will be coming in soon, his gums are really white. He stared crawling on the 5th of Oct. He had been really close for awhile now but just couldn't figure it out, he wanted to just walk, while holding our fingers of coarse. I wanted him to crawl before walking, part of developing so we tried to teach him but it wouldn't really help. He finally did it buy offering Dan's ring to him. He has taken off since then, I wanted him to crawl but now that he does I'm almost wishing he didn't he now can get into anything and everything! It is nice though cause now he can entertain himself even better. He will stand all by himself for a few seconds, and pulls himself up on things. He LOVES cords and drawers especially the ones he's not suppose to have. He hates to get hurt, tipping over, smashing fingers in drawers, etc. Loves when daddy comes home, he is totally a daddy's boy when he's home, he wants nothing to do with me when he's home. Hates to be told NO, he stops what he's doing looks at me and cries/whines. Still hates to ride in his car seat, which sucks if we need to go anywhere. He is a very good eater he pretty much will eat anything we give him. Some of his favorites gerber cheetos (don't remember what they are called but they remind me of cheetos, these ones are good for the baby though), bread, wheatables, mandarin oranges, lemonade, dried pears, doesn't really like peas, likes to eat what we are eating, and loves to drink out of cups. It seems like each week he has a new noise that he makes. He will copy you and thinks its pretty funny when you can make the same noise he does. I love to watch him grow and discover how things work. Love this little guy more and more everyday!

Teydon 7 month pictures & More!

We went and helped my mom move into her house over Labor day weekend. Makes me never wanna move, especially now that we have a kid way too much stuff. Teydon got his first hair cut on Set. 5, his hair was pretty crazy and getting long. We were at my moms so I asked her for help cutting his hair. He did ok for a couple min then wouldn't hold still and didn't like it. I noticed when we got home that it was uneven, so thought I'd try the clippers out. He did so GOOD he would just sit there and let me do it. I would let him hold the clippers, I didn't want him to get/be scared of it. He loved it. He has seen me cut Dan's hair so maybe that helped, who knows. I got Teydons pictures done on the 10th, they were so much fun and turned out SO CUTE! Dan was there for the 1st half, then had to go back to work. We found out who can make Teyd smile the best, after he left Melissa and I could not get Teydon to smile for the life of us. He is the best ignorer! It didn't matter how loud we yelled he would not look at us. :) I love this little boy so much!! We got some trees (6) 2 maples, 3 quaking aspens, and 1 Canadian choke cherry. We've planted 2 so far I will post some pictures when its all done.

AUGUST HAPPENINGS!

I can't believe summer is over. August went by so fast. Things we've been doing, if you can tell from Teydons farmers tan :) we've been in the sun mainly swimming! He loves to go down the slide with his dad. ( I dont dare take him down.) He makes a really big splashing mess in his tub so we've bathed him a couple times in the sink. We went to Cache County's fair, Teydon liked the animals, especially the calves he would touch their nose. We also went to the Rodeo with my dad and Sami, he mainly watched the horses I think cause they're always moving. It was my birthday on the 18th, we had a BBQ had family and friends over. I got lots of $$, I LOVE $$!! So Teydon and I did a lot of shopping, I dont think he's the biggest fan but he's gonna have to get use to it! He is now 7 months old, and on our scale he's almost 15 lbs. Some of his accomplishments sitting all by himself, rock/ lean forward until he falls on his face, then rolls to his back, probably wont be long before he's crawling, YIKES. He loves food, at the moment he is eating raspberries with his dad and doesnt have very good patience wants them NOW! A bad thing he's figured out he whines when he doesnt get something or if he loses what he was playing with. He loves my hair, as soon as I pick him up he searches for my hair and the other day I was trying to put him down for a nap and he wouldnt until I gave him some of my hair. Silly boy! He loves to go for walks in the stroller. He continues to bring so much joy and happiness to our home! Life would be so boring with out him!
