4 Months!!

  

Teydon is 4 months old, yesterday. We had his Dr. appt today and he is doing good. 11 lbs 14 oz-8%, 24 3/4 inches-50%, 16 3/4 inches head measurement-60 %. He is developing very well, has accomplished all the things the Dr. asked. Holding his head up, rolling over from belly to back, putting things in his mouth, pushing himself up when on stomach, focusing on people and objects, and follows them with his eyes. We can start feeding him rice cereal, which i think he is ready for cause if you hold him while eating/drinking he will watch/follow it go in and open his mouth. So well see how it goes tonight. It is so much fun to see him grow and learn new things, it has been the best 4 months of my life to bring a beautiful little boy into this world, to be his mom and to watch him grow. He has grown a place deep in my heart! I saw this quote on a picture frame and fell in love with it, When they placed you in my arms, you slipped into my heart. It is so true and crazy how something so little can make you love him so much! I am so excited to experience his next developing stages! 

Teydon's 1st NewMyer Family Camp!

  

We have a NewMyer family tradition to go camping over memorial weekend out to Snowville. We take our sleddin trailer and turn it into a camping trailer. It got pretty cold at nights, good thing we took a little space heater. We had Teydon set up-long sleeve onesies, fleece jammies, hat, wrapped in a blanket inside his wool bundle me, with LOTS of blankets on top and around him. He was probably warmer than we were! Teydon had a lot of fun and was passed around! :)He is stealing the hearts of everyone in our family! We have been very blessed with an awesome ittle guy! Its definitely a lot harder with a baby, good thing I'm not a single parent or I would never be able to do it.

We caught Teydon's 1st laugh on camera. So cute!! The goofier you are the happier they are! :) He sure does fill our hearts with JOY!! There is nothing cuter than his laugh!

Teydon's Blessings!

       

We blessed Teydon on May 2, 2010. We ended up not having church/sacrament due to ward boundary changes so we were able to do it at the church in the relief society room, then have the luncheon right after. We were going to have the luncheon at Mac Park but it was a little too cold so we had it at the church instead. I liked not doing it during church cause then it was relaxed, didn't matter if people were late, and I think it helped Dan not be so nervous saying the blessing in front of hundreds of people. Teydon did really good too, I was a little nervous cause he woke up MAD, I didn't want him crying through the whole thing, but not a noise. He is such a good baby and a blessing to our lives! I am so thankful for my family and friends and all of their love and support, they make my life perfect.  

3 months!!!

My little guy is 3 months old and it has been the best 3 months! He makes me SO happy and makes our little family a little more complete. Some of Teydons accomplishments/personalities LOVES bath time, gives Dan huge smiles when he comes home, doesn't really like tummy time he just rolls off the pillow or cries after a couple minutes, loves to suck on his fist, unless he's going to sleep he prefers them over his binky, loves to be outside, hates his car seat, loves to be held, starting to pay attention, recognize toys, he's starting to grab things: blanket, bib, toys, HAIR.  He is gaining control of his arms/hands and legs, figuring out what they're used for! He LOVES to splash in the tub, he floods the kitchen, doesn't go very well with an anti-flood house :)! We wouldn't know what to do if we didn't have this sweet boy in our lives!

Happy Birthday Dad!

   

Every year we go on a snowmobile ride for my dads birthday, this year we went a little early due to schedules, we went up Kamas. It was a gorgeous day with 6-8 inches fresh powder. We all fried our faces, you don't think about taking sunscreen sledding, but I learned my lesson sunscreen is going in my back pack. It was the 1st time I was able to go riding this year, tons of fun. Being away from Teydon sure does make me miss him, but it was good to go have some fun! 

2 months!!!

  

I took Teydon to his 2 month check up on April 2, he weighs 10 lbs 12 oz, 45%, and is 23 inches long 75%. He is doing really good and is healthy. He got his first shots, that is so hard and sad to watch, I made Dan come with me. I realized that I didn't have any 2 month pics on the 6th and he was being happy and smiling so I got some pics and thought while he's in a good mood ill change him into some cute clothes. Its crazy how fast their attitudes can change, the 1st two pics were taken within 10 min of each other. Guess he decided he had enough with pictures. We have been very blessed with a good baby! Yes, we have our moments usually when he's tired or hungry but when hes not either of those he just chills, smiles and coos. It is so much fun when he starts to smile and talk to you, it takes my breath away! He has also found his fists and pointer finger, he loves to suck on them but only when he is chilling to fall asleep he'd rather have his binky. He is sleeping through the night we'll atleast 6-8 hours which is normal for us anyways. He'll wake up around 6, eat, then go back to sleep for a couple hours. He loves to be held and walked around the house, were doomed he's a busy body already, can't hold still. He gets that from his dad.
