A lil behind.....

Maryann got put on bed rest on Tuesday the 28th so I've been helping them out and haven't been around the internet so I have some catching up to do. On Monday the 27th Dan and I took a half day off and went for a ride up Tony Grove. I love my sled. This was my second time riding it and I think ill get a couple more in before the snow all melts! Its so nice now that we have 2 sleds, now Dan and I can just go riding whenever we want. Dan rides my sled about as much as I do, which Im glad he likes it cause that means we got a good sled. He's so jealous that mine has reverse and his doesn't! I hope I toughen up cause there were some places we went that scared me, especially the "DOWN HILL" I decided I'd much rather go up than down!

My cousin had her baby on the 26th a Boy BRAYDEN 5 lbs 10 oz 19in. He's so cute! I got the chance to go and see him the Tues. after he was born. He is so tiny and precious. I couldn't stop holding him. Im so excited I get to see him tomorrow!

Last night was our ward Temple night, its every 1st Wedn. of each month and we finally were able to go. The session was a 6:30 but by the time we were ready the session was FULL so we waited for the 7 o'clock. We were talking about how busy it was and what a better place to have busy! It doesnt seem to matter what time or day you go. We went on a Fri. night, Sat @ noon, then last night all sessions full. I am so grateful that we have a temple so close to us and to see it so busy. It's so beautiful this time of year all the flowers and trees are blooming beautiful and bright.

It was also my dad's birthday yesterday #47! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! To celebrate were going for a snowmobile ride on Sat! It's going to be so fun and a beautiful day!

One last thing on Tuesday Dan came home for lunch and I needed the trees down off the plant shelf and I couldnt reach them so I asked Dan for help. Well he found some of his own help.......

Getting Kendra up there was the easy part, it took us a little while to coax her down, she liked it up there and wasnt real sure how she was going to get down. At one point she said "Let me get down by myself." :) She brings so much joy and laughter to our life!

Scentsy Party!

I'm having a Mothers Day Scentsy Candle Party on Wednesday the 29th 6-8. I have samples of candles if you can't make it that night but want to make an order. Just give me a call. We'll send the order in Thursay night. Thanks.

NewMyer Easter!

It was Dan's dads birthday on the 18th so as a family we went to the temple to celebrate his life! Even those living in other states went on their time zone so that we all went to the same session together. After the temple we went out to Newton where Dan's mom lives. We ate dinner, then had an Easter egg/candy hunt. The kids had a lot of fun. As a family tradition they always go to their dads grave and have a memorial. They each take a turn talking about their dad, then put a rose on his head stone. Suprisingly with how many kids there are (12) they are a very close family and really have the spirit in their lives. I could feel it so strong in the temple and at the cemetary. I really admire how close they are and how they get along with each other so well. I hope that I can live by their examples. And one day when we bring little ones into this world we can have that same closeness and love.

Sleep Over!!

Its Maryann and Ethans Anniversary on the 27th and to celebrate they wanted to go to the Anniversary Inn. So last night Kendra came and spent the night at our house! After they dropped her off we decided to go for a Pinz (its one of ARS's vehicles) ride, we went up Smithfield Canyon, well at least to the gate. Then we walked the rest of the way up the canyon. Kendra, Dan, and Brax played in the little patches of snow, then kendra threw rocks into the river. Later we went back to the house ate dinner and watched the Little Rascals. Its Kendras new favorite show! She did really good going to sleep and staying asleep, she only woke up once at 7, a lil confused about where she was at. :) We love our lil neice she always puts a smile on our faces!!!

LOOK WHAT I GOT!!!!!

We've been trying to find me a sled but never found the one with the right $$. On Friday Dan called me telling me he found my sled. I couldn't wait to get to ARS and to look at it! There she was Pink and Black MY sled! :) And it was a good $$$!! We didn't want to make any rash decisions so we slept on it. Sat after talking to my parents we decided it was a good deal and should take it before its gone. Saturday after a family get together we went to Hooper UT. to at least look at it! It was love at 1st sight :)!! After Dan did a thorough look through he came and asked me what I thought, my responce, "You KNOW what I think!"So we put her in the back of the truck and brought her home! She's perfect for me! Now all I need is to go riding!!!

Happy Easter!

I hope that everyone had a good Easter weekend and got to spend so quality family time together. We got a Red Lobster gift card from my grandparents for Christmas and they were having lobster feast until the 13th so I told Dan I wanted to go, so Saturday we decided to take a trip down to Layton. We invited M, E, & K to come with us. We stopped at Smith and Edwards on the way down, I think we spent 2+ hours there, we couldn't get the boys out of the store. Finally they got hungry so we were able to leave! Red Lobster was DELICIOUS, I love it! On the way back we stopped at Sears @ the Newgate Mall. We had to go to the stores that had TOOLS or there was no way we were going in. :) After Sears the boys wanted to go to Sportsman Warehouse, so the girlies went to Target. By that time we were shopped out. On the way home we rented Marley and Me, went to M&E's watched movies and ate pizza. Easter Sunday; we went to church, took a nap, then M,E & K invited us over to color Easter eggs. They made us hamburgers and we watched Transformers. Kendra looked so cute in her Easter dress. Thanks guys for having us over!

Weekend!

We had a really good weekend, very eventful. My grandparents came up on Fri and we went to the temple. Its been awhile since we've been so it was really good to go. After we went to Sizzler for dinner,we met my mom and Sam there. They came down to go sleddin' and to see my grandparents. Sat. we went snowmobiling up Cub River, my mom and Sam came with us and Steve and Cole! It was really warm and sunny, it was so nice, the snow wasn't too good but the weather was my kind of snowmobiling weather. :) After we went to the Super 8 motel where my mom was staying and sat in the hot tub. It really relaxed my muscle and felt so good. Sunday Steve and Cole came over for a BBQ in the RAIN! :( Steak and Dutch oven potatoes. S&N brought cherry cheese cake (DELICIOUS) and the movie Smoke Jumpers, it was a good movie. Thanks everyone for a fun weekend!
