On Saturday we went out to dinner for Sabrina's Birthday it was on the 15th but we werent able to celbrate together until the 28th. We ate at the Red Robin then went to the Keys on Main club in Salt Lake. It was a pretty cool place they had 2 pianos and they would play requested songs. Then everyone decided to go to the Hotel but it was getting late and too much $$$ so we decided to end the night of fun! We went to Morgan and spent the night at my grandma and pa Carter's house. We hung out with them Sun morning, then went to my cousins house hung out with them for awhile, then went and ate dinner at my grandma Roberts. I got to see my cousin Nicole and her CUTE baby belly! She is due the 3 of May! Its her first and Im so excited for her. She's havin a little boy!! It was so good to take the day and go visit with family. Its been awhile since I've seen everyone! Next time they're comin to my house!

Targhee Wy.

For Christmas Jud (Dan's boss) gave the guys a vacation to either Grand Targhee or Moab. We decided to go to Targhee. We left Thurs. the 19th @ 11 arriving in Victor @ 4 in the morning. Victor is where the lodge was at, about 30 mins from Targhee. Friday Dan and I went snowmobiling just for a little ride, we were pretty tired from the night before so we just took it easy. Then Jud took us to dinner to a nice restaurant in Driggs. Saturday we went with the whole group boardin to Grand Targhee Resort. It was so much fun and a lot of work, I forgot how much boarding works your legs! Again Jud tooks us to dinner to a nice place, this one was locating by our lodge. Sunday we just drove home and went to the NewMyer monthly family party in Tremonton. It was so much fun and good to get away (again). Two vactions in a row isn't bad!

Stanley, Idaho

We left Thurs. morning for Stanley Id. We decided for Valentine's weekend we would go on a sleddin trip. Steve, Nickole, my dad, his girlfriend Sami, Dan and I all went. We got there around 4:30 got settled into our rooms then the boys worked on the sleds, we found that my dad needed a new coil so Friday morning him and Sami left for Boise. They were gone pretty much all day! So we hung out at the room for a bit then we went on a ride, scoopin out the area. When they got back we fixed the sled then went for a nite ride! Sat. (Valentines Day) we went sleddin all day then when we got back we got ready and we all went to dinner. To the only place open in Stanley I guess winter isnt their season :)! We were all pretty tired so we watched a movie and crashed. Sunday we packed up then headed home! It was so much fun to get away and spend the whole weekend with my HUBBY, with no interruptions! It was so pretty up there. There were so many places you can ride, we really could have used another day just to cover all the ground! Thanks everyone for making it an awesome weekend!!

S and R

An update on Dan and search and rescue! On Thurs. he was voted on! So its official, he's on a year trial but so far he has done anything to go out of his way to help them and to be to every event and meeting. You might call it BROWN NOSING! :) I'm sure he will pass his year trial with no problems at all. This is something he is very devoted to and I am proud of him for choosing to help out his community in this way. When I asked him why he wanted to join S & R he said this is a way I can help out my community and I think it would be fun. He loves the outdoors and wants to learn new things, this will be an awesome oppurtunity for him. He already has learned alot and will continue too. I have also learned a lot: to sacrifice my time w/ him, being supportive, a hard one unselfishness, and finding things to do to keep me busy when he's gone. I hate being alone, but i'm figuring things out. I try to tink about it in a positive way that doing this he will be helping those in need of major help. I'm glad that there are people out there that volunteer their time to rescue those that get lost! I am very gratefull to be married to this man. He is an awesome example to me. He is so patient and understanding with me. Even though we have our hard times, our love keeps growing stronger everyday. I think its those hard times that bring us closer together, they help us get to know each other so much better and how to live with each other and still make each other happy! They also show us the things we need to change about ourselves.

I've started to pay more & more attention to the little things he does and they far out weigh the BIG ones I wish he would do. I am so excited to continue growing our little family and for the many adventures we will experience together! I am so grateful to have him in my life, I dont know what I'd do with out him! Thank you for everything Valentine! I LOVE YOU!!!

Tubin' Party

Every winter the NewMyer family gets together and has a tubin party. Years before we've gone to the Sinks but starting last year we go out to Newton. Its Dans home town and where his mom still lives so its close to her house and closer location for everyone to meet. We take our in-closed trailer up with heaters, movies (for the lil ones), tons of food, couches and chairs. We always have a blast!

Trisa and I went to the Aggies basketball game on Thurs. the 29th. Dan had Search and Rescue so Trisa came with me to the game! Before the game we went to Firehouse and shared a pasta and a Fazookie! Delicious! I love Firehouse! The aggies WON!! I think the score was 72-64. It was so much fun! Thanks for comin with me Trisa!!

Girlz Night Out!

On the 17th we had a girls night out and went clubbin' Trisa, Brooke, Jamie, Sabrina, Nickole, and I ! We got together to celebrated Jamie's birthday! It was tons of fun and so good to hang out with my girlies! Trisa, Sabrina, Nickole and I drove down together we meet in Brigham at 2, went to Olive Garden in Layton for lunch, then shopped till we dropped. Bad idea when your gonna go dancing! I had a blast it was so good to hand out and spend time with everyone!
