Number 6

We were so close to hitting 8 months without a seizure. On Thursday April 25th between 10:40 and 11. Dan was in his room getting him to sleep when he went into a seizure the same stare and scream, Dan yelled for me to come in. Teydon was tense and convulsing, hands in a fist, eyes open and rolling back, drooling, and choking. It lasted just over 1 minute. Dan gave him a blessing and soon after he came out of it. What happened next freaked us out a little, instead of falling to sleep like he usually does he was awake and very disoriented. He kept reaching towards our faces and looking around with a blank stare, like he didnt know who we were or where he was at. If Dan or I moved he would follow us with his eyes. It took him a couple minutes to be able to say words that made sense, once he was understandable, he kept asking to go to his house. He asked about dads bed so we took him to our room, once there he was complaining that his tummy hurt, Dan grabbed him some bread and when I put it in his hands he asked if it was an airplane. Soon after he took a bite he started throwing up so I hurried him to the toilet, once he was done he was asking me what the toilet was. It was really scaring us so I left him with Dan and called my mom, my brother has epilepsy so I knew she would know if it was normal or not. All that he was doing my brother has done, we think where it had been almost 8 months since his last one that he has grown and developed a lot so the aftermath of the seizures are different, more grown up I guess. Talked to my brother a couple days later and he said it is very confusing coming out of a seizure, vision is blurry and you have no idea where you are at, your head feels blown up like a balloon. It gave us relief to know this was a normal reaction and not that the seizure had caused any damage, they say they don't cause damage unless they last longer than 5 mins or happen one right after the other. Though we wished to never experience another seizure we are truly blessed to have such an awesome little boy! We hope and pray that his body and brain can heal and grow out of this quickly. 

I took him to the nutritionist that next Tuesday for a test to see what was going on. The test showed that he had had a chemical reaction/allergic reaction to something in the air.  She asked about dairy farms near by and said a lot of people have been fertilizing so it could have been anything. His body didnt like whatever it was and reacted with a seizure. Yay for us, not! She said this is something that he can grow out of and eventually his body will desensitize from the drops and be able to do what the drops are doing by its self. Took him back 2 weeks later and everything had settled down and was back to normal, and some of his drops were cut back down. She said that kids flush and heal very quickly. We are also not to use bug spray on him this summer, use lavender or natural things instead. 

Life is so interesting and can throw us curve balls at any moment, I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ and the comfort, peace, and strength that they give me. I am also grateful for the support and love of family and friends. We are truly blessed! 

Teydon's Cutenesses and happenings!

Teydon LOVES magnets or maggets as he calls them, he has two tiny silver ones (probably total 1/2in put together) that he got from grandma Becky's, which came from Icon. Making them in short supply on our end. We lost one pair at papas and it was a pretty sad ordeal, you'd think he had lost his best friend. We had to call g. Becky and see if she could find anymore. We were lucky enough to be able to find two more one from g. Becky and one at our house.  Those being the last two both of us have, not sure what were gonna do if these ones get lost too. Guess we'll  be going to Icon. We tried replacing them with different kinds of magnets but he doesn't like them like he does his two silver ones. They have to go everywhere with us and they are in his hands constantly. They even got to bed with him, they are pretty strong little magnets and will connect through the sides of his bed, he tells them good night too. He even has had a couple bad dreams about losing them. He loves sticking them together and finding things that they stick too. He's always got something new that they are attached too and have to come with us too, the last couple days it's been a screw.  He also likes to clip them on his shirt or dads shirt. He uses his imagination to make them become other things; a gun, a key, screw driver, etc. Daddy has taught him some tricks with them; making one move on top of the table while one is underneath, using the magnetic pull to push or pull them away from each other, etc. 
It is so crazy the little things that he becomes attached to, things you would never think he would. He is so much fun and always keeping us entertained. 
It was so cute, the school bus stop is outside our house and mornings when Teyd is up in time he likes to watch out baby brothers window. The kids like to hang out by our window well, crazy kids, and BB's room is right by it. It's morning he was watching them and they didn't know that he was there even though he was yelling at them to get out of his house! After a few minutes they notice him and all started laughing and saying "Hi Teydon" "look it's Teydon". Then they proceeded to make funny faces and noises at each other. When the bus got there they all said bye to him. It is so cute the way the neighbor kids treat him and have so much fun with him. Takes away those mommy worries about your kid not being liked and made fun of. Hoping his neighbor friends will continue to like him and watch over him when it's school time.  I love that Teydon calls ever kid his friends and when he heard them outside that morning he yelled "My friends", so cute. 
We love how happy, fun, creative, and smart our little boy is! He is so special to us and we're so grateful to have him in our lives! With being 7 months pregnant and a majorly growing belly it was getting difficult to put Teyd in his crib, he still was unable to climb out of it, so we figured it was time to change his bed into a toddler bed. I think part of me has been putting it off cause there is no way my baby boy is big enough for a toddler bed. He has done awesome with it and has only came in our room a couple times but goes right back to sleep in his when we take him back. He loves that he can climb in and out of his bed when he wants and chooses his bed instead of ours. Wahoo. One day I was talking to him and telling him I didn't  want him to grow up and that he's getting too big, he proceeded to tell me  "I have to grow up and get big" and continues to remind me. Where did the time go? I have a 3 year old, how did that happen? I miss my little baby Teyder bug but at the same time I love him being 3, he is so much fun!
One last thing, he is so excited about baby brother and always asks when he's coming out. He will grab my belly and tell BB hi, give him kisses, and play with him. A couple of times Teydon has rested against my belly and BB gives him a couple nudges, telling him hi and your crowding me bro. Teydon thinks it is so funny and loves it. Some people have asked me if he understands, he might not understand that he's not gonna be the only child anymore but with the way he talks about BB I think he is going to love it and him and won't have any problems adjusting to him. I've been watching my niece which is a month old and he's always giving her kisses, wanting to hold her, helping me grab things, and always wants to play with her. He is so cute with her! Though she goes home and bb won't I still don't think he'll have a problem, when her parents have come to get her he tells me "he wants her", so I think he'll like bb staying here. Watching him interact with her makes me so excited to see him with BB. He's going to be an awesome Big Brother!

Hoppy Easter!

The Easter bunny found Teydon and left him lots of treats and a rocket! He also hid our Easter eggs that we had colored the night before. After church we loaded up in the car and went to grandma greats in Henefer to spend the day with them. There we had a delicious lunch, four wheeler rides, an Easter egg hunt, fun with cousins, and carmel popcorn! It was so much to fun to spend the day with family that we hadn't seen in awhile!

Clarkston's Easter Egg hunt

We went with Parker and Addi out to Clarkston's egg hunt and then to Lee's Easter station hopper and got lots of goodies; cookies, suckers, string cheese, laffy taffy, toothbrush, fruit snacks, and chocolate milk. We also saw the Easter Bunny at Lee's, Teydon loved him and kept wanting to go back to see him. He wasn't scared at all of him, walked right up gave him a five and was all smiles for a picture.

We also had fun as a family coloring eggs, both Dan and Teydons first times! Love my little family!

St. Patty's Day fun!

I always remember growing up, a leprechaun would come to our house and make a mess, looking for his gold. Just a little something but I remember still today so I want to make those same memories for Teydon. I've enjoyed making little holidays something fun and Teydon makes them so much fun, I love this age and his excitement and curiosity! It's fun when he notices things like his door is decorated and different. He talked about the leprechaun messing up his house and peeing in his toilet for a week afterwards. He wouldn't have anything to do with our green milk that the leprechaun had changed for us. It was so much fun to celebrate with him.

Blue or pink..................

Feb. 14 2013, Valentines day we had an appt. for an ultrasound to make sure baby is healthy and to find out if its a boy or girl. The appt. was for 9:30, but they're 3D ultrasound broke so it made them get backed up and an hour behind so we weren't able to find out until 10:30, and we didn't get any 3D pics :(. We got some pics but not really any good ones. They said we could reschedule, but I couldn't wait any longer to know boy or girl, and it'll cost an extra $100 to go in for just a 3D ultrasound. I feel like I'm missing out a little bit cause i dont really have any good pics of the baby. Maybe well save up some money and get some 3D, but not for now. At least ill get some good pics when its born. The baby is completely healthy and everything looks perfect!! Teydon loved hearing the heart beat, aka shark, and kept asking to hear it. He was so exited to see the baby on the computer, and tv. He probably loved it just as much as I did, I could just watch it all day. Anyone wanna buy me an ultrasound machine :). After the appt. we went to ARS to take some pics to announce the gender. We are excited to be having another baby BOY! And excited for Teydon to have a little brother, buddy. He kept saying he wanted a sister but guess he'll have to wait for that. Biggest problem we have now is we don't have any names picked for a boy, Boys are so hard to name. Hopefully we come up with one before he's born.

Teydon is 3!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite 3 year old!! We celebrated the day with hanging out with Dad in the morning, then after a nap dad and uncle Mike took Teyd shooting guns. That evening we met some friends; Parker and Addi, and family at McDonalds for some fun on the slides. After that more family came over to the house for cake and ice cream, and PRESENTS! Teyd got spoiled as usual, with tractors, a new balance bike, clothes, and to grab money out of grandma Susan's treasure box. We love our little Teydor bug so much and are so grateful for him in our lives!

Teydon's Cutenesses:
- always asks for dad all throughout the day and gets so excited when he finally comes home!
- "Hey dad/mom I got to ask you a question?"
- he has found his imagination and uses it daily.
- he loves: tractors, firetrucks, dump trucks, rockets, space ships, the iPad, outside, friends; any kid he sees is considered his friend, building things, "dad's" bed, fruit, ("wagermelon", strawberries, gapes) olives, quesadillas, bread, to be chased, hide and seek.

-"That gave me a good idea." "I have a good idea." "That be a good idea."
-"Hang on a sec, dad/mom."
-he hates: going to sleep, being told no, leaving places, potatoes of any sort.

He makes us so happy and is always entertaining us! His loves list is a lot bigger than hates which makes him a very easy and fun kid!
