Busy, Busy, Busy!

The last couple of months have been full of adventures and family get togethers! For Thanksgiving we went up to my moms in Twin Falls along with my grandparents, my uncle, aunt, and their kids. The food was delicious and as always we stuffed ourselves. We ended up spending the whole weekend enjoying family and fun. My mom, my 2 step sisters, my mom's coworker and I went to Breaking Dawn- I LOVED IT!! While we had everyone together we took some updated family pictures, even though we froze, we got some good pics!

My dad and I took Teydon to see Santa Clause at the Cache Valley Mall, he did really good not one tear! When we got to "Santas Lodge" he went running in excited looking at all the lights and decor santas and as soon as he got to the real Santa he stopped dead in his tracks and turned the other direction. :) Once he realized it was ok and gave Santa a five and with a little coaxing he sat on Santa's lap for some pictures! I love that little boy so much!! 

Dan and I decided to go with my dad, step mom and step brother Ethan, to an Arizona Cardinals Football game!  It was a BLAST! We left Teydon home with Dan's brother, mom and my mom (taking turns) we didn't think he'd enjoy sitting in a car for 13 hrs. Even though it was a very long drive we made the most of it, movies, block puzzle 2, tic tac toe, hangman, making semi's honk, sleeping, snacks, and VEGAS!! I gambled for my first time and won $9 off of $1 and then I lost it all :( , but it was still fun! We stayed at the Riviera in Vegas on Friday, December 9th, then continued on our way to AZ in the morning we arrived there around 2, got settled in our rooms then went and did some cardinals shopping :). We had a little casulty and lost Ethan but eventually he was found.  On our drive home we went a different route and went through Kane County, where they have sheriff broncos parked with "dummies" in the driver seat, Dan was pretty entertained with this and we stopped at each one to make sure they were dummies. :)

We had awesome seats at the game, it was a little hard to see when everyone stood up to watch/cheer, since I'm so short but it was still a blast. The best part the Cardinals won the San Fransisco 49ers!!! I've never been to a game where the cards won and it was AWESOME!! After the game we got pizza, then went and celebrated in the hotel bar (don't worry Dan and I enjoyed our waters :) )  After our celebration we went swimming, the people from AZ thought we were crazy and from Alaska cause it was 65 degrees and we were swimming outside. To them they were freezing to us it was amazingly warm! :) I'm so glad we went, it was a perfect vacation and full of many memories!!

CHRISTMAS was filled with family, parties, presents and a FINISHED BASEMENT! It took forever but we are so glad it is finally all finished! We are enjoying it so much!!

We spent Christmas Adam with Dan's family, we were all able to be there but 2 of Dan's brother due to the fact that they live out of state. Although, Dan's brother Mike who is stationed in Japan was able to skype over laptops and spent the evening with us! We ended up spending the night in Newton. Im not sure if its cause he went to bed late or cause he was sleeping in an unfamiliar place and on an air mattress but Teydon did not sleep :(.

Christmas Eve day my grandma and 2 aunts came up, we watched the Cards play, had dinner, and opened presents. They spoiled us by buying us an entertainment center for our basement. Teydon sonked out at 7:30 so Dan and I just spent the evening together. Christmas morning my dad and step mom came to watch us open presents and to see what Santa brought us. Teydon was so much fun this year!! He loved opening presents and is catching on to the concept! He went running to the couch to see what Santa left him. This boy brings so much joy and happiness into our home! We love him so much!

                                      



My mom, step dad, and brother came down Tuesday, my step dad had his girls this year so they spent Christmas with them in Twin Falls. They stayed the week with us and went home Sat. My grandma and grandpa Carter had their annual Adult Christmas Party on the 28th, it was so good to hang out with my cousins that I don't get to see very often! We had so much fun having them here with us, the week was filled with movies (Transformers), more presents, family, and snowmobiling. It was our first ride and tons of fun. We took Teydon with us due to the fact that it was 50 degrees. He did awesome and had tons of fun. This was his second time going, he went on a little ride while we were in AZ with his uncle. :) We strapped him in a back pack and he just chilled! We went to a warming hut and he thought that was pretty cool. When we got home my grandparents were at our house we made Mt. Dew Stew and root beer floats! I love the holiday season and family getting together!!

Teydon got a McQueen four wheeler from his grandma and he loves it! He thinks he's such a big boy now! We got him a little wagon and he had daddy hook it up to the back of his 4wheeler like a trailer and hauls things around all day!



We rung in the New Year with a bang! We had a New Years, new basement party! We bought a foosball table for down stairs an that was the enertainment for the night. We watched Red, played pictionary, nintendo, and ate tons of food! Thank you everyone for coming and supporting us and partying it up with us! Hope 2012 brings new adventures and happiness to all!

Tanya Update!

The end of September I joined Usborne Books & More as an Independant Consultant and I'm loving it! It has been so fun and has been so nice making my own spending money and know that I didnt the work for it and actually enjoyed earning it! It has been a big blessing in more ways than one. It is filling in the empty space I was having. It gets me a little extra money and out of the house for some adult time! With starting this new adventure I got a lot of perks from it. 1st of I need the internet to do my work, I have my own website and my orders are done online. The computer we had was starting to quit on us and we didn't want to put alot of money into something that wasn't going to last very long and the cost to fix it was as much as a brand new one costs so.......we went to Best Buy and bought our Christmas present, a Dell desk top computer and I LOVE IT! I also got my own internet and I love it too! It is so nice being able to download things so fast and downloading programs I couldn't on my old computer. I was even able to pay for most of my 1st internet bill with my own money, Ya! Things couldn't be going any better!!

Trick or Treat!

Look at my cute little tiger! I've always wanted a tiger. I can't believe my little man is old enough to go Trick or Treating, door to door! :( It was so much fun! He was so cute walking up to the doors, knocking, and waiting for candy, he got the hang of it pretty quick! I took him to ARS to show him off to the secretaries, they thought he was so cute and their excitment scared him a little and he was way shy. That was until Blair took him to see the big trucks and bribbed him with some candy, then he started to play around. We went TorT around the neighborhood, to grandpa's, then to aunt Cole's and uncle Steve's. Steve and Cole watched him so Dan and I could go the Haunted Forest. It was so much fun and scary! Dan even got scared a couple of times, which means it was really good!

We are so blessed!

Autumn Fun!

 We went, on a Sunday afternoon, on family hike to Stokes Nature Trail. It was so pretty, it was a lot of fun to get out of the house and into nature. Dan and Teydon spent most the time running, playing in the river, and jumping off of things.

 Elk hunting 2011, we went to my grandma's in Henefer and spent the weekend playing with cousins! Teydon & Brayden love to ride on the 4 wheeler! We took Dan's mom's camping trailer and camped out in the mountains! While the boys went hunting, the girls had fun at a Usborne book party! We had a fun weekend and loved hanging out with family!! While we were there my grandma took us to Red Lobster, YUM!

 We were going to go to the pumpkin walk for family night but when we got there at 7:30 it was a 2 hr wait to even get in. :( We decided to go to a little pumpkin patch in No. Logan and pick us out some pumpkins to carve the next night! Teydon had so much fun picking out and carrying his own little pumpkin!

We decided to head to the pumpkin walk early to avoid the 2 hr wait. It was perfect we got right in and got to enjoy the pumpkin displays. Teydon had a lot of fun standing on the stools and putting his head in the holes! I think his favorite part was the cookie at the end. People have some amazing talents to get pumpkins to look so much like actual characters. It was a lot of fun. Teydon's favorite scenes were the basketball player and the football team. He is all boy!  But that's why we love him so much!

After the pumpkin walk we came home and worked on our pumpkins. Teydon didn't want much to do with the "pumpkin guts" so he played and watched Cars instead. Which has become his all time favorite movie! He'll watch it all day long, over and over again. You can put any other movie in and he only lasts 2 mins but you put Cars in and he'll watch the WHOLE thing! His favorite part, which sometimes we watch over and over and over again, is when Mater and McQueen go tractor tipping! There is a good thing about it though it can be a good babysitter, when I need to clean up or hop in the shower.

I didn't think it was very fair that I spent a lot of time on my spider and Dan whips out a pucking pumpkin in 2 min. Pretty sure he took the easy way out. We have had alot of fun celebrating Autumn. Teydon is at a fun age too, he's able to participate and have fun doing things too. Love my life!

Teydon's 1st Circus!

Teydon's Great Grandma took us to the Circus, in Salt Lake! Teydon enjoyed it for the 1st little while but 2+ hrs is a little long for a 19 month old. I LOVED it, it had been a very long time since I've been to a circus. My favorite was the elephants and the TIGERS! I so want a tiger :)! People have some real talent to get wild animals to do what they want. My Grandma took us and my cousins and their kids, making it a total for 6 great grandkids! It was so much fun to get together with them, they live 1.5 hrs a way so we dont get to see them very often. We met at Chucky Cheese before for pizza and fun. It was an awesome day/night! Thanks grandma!

On the way home from the circus we drove through East Canyon to look at the fall leaves, they were very bright and beautiful. I love when the leaves start to change colors it's our favorite thing about Autumn.

Twin!

Teydon and I went to my mom's up in Twin for a week. We were up there for her birthday! We had a lot of fun up there: playing with their puppy Boo, shopping, Miniature golfing at the mall, fed the fish at the fish hatchery, out to eat, movies, playing at the park, running through sprinklers, and played the WII. It was so much fun and so good to spend some time with my mom and brother! Only down fall it made me miss them so much more!! Teydon still calls for Boo! We had so much fun running through the sprinklers at the park, everyone got pretty wet Teydon the worst. Boo loved to have Teydon throw the ball for him even though he only through it a foot, Boo would always give it back to him. They also had fun playing chase! Thanks Mom and Colb for an awesome week! We love you both so much!!

Summer FUN!

We have had one of the busiest summers! Dan's brother and his wife got transferred to Japan for the Marines. We spent 3 weeks of July spending time with them before they left: swimming, camping, dinner, family parties, shopping, fun fun fun! Then Dan's Sister left for her mission to Birmingham, Alabama/MTC the end of July so we spent time with her going to movies: HP 7 & Zoo Keeper, games, and packing. We are so proud of her and love her so much!

We went to Flaming Gorge, for my birthday, with family and friends. Thurs./my birthday was the best day we had there weather wise! It was a beautiful day with cliff jumping and wake boarding. We had an awesome time and can't wait to go next year, going for a whole week next time! It is definitely going to be a yearly thing! It rained on us Fri & Sat in the afternoons but we still made the best of it with more cliff jumping, sandwiches, tour of the dam, and tube rides. Teydon did so good he loves the boat, and didn't mind wearing the life jacket. We loved the campground Mustang Ridge, the roads are paved and their was more shade than we planned on. The whole vacation was awesome. I'm so grateful to all those that made it a perfect birthday weekend!!

We made it over to Beak Lake for some boating with my Dad, step mom, and step brother. It was a blast, it had been 15 yrs since my dad had been to Bear Lake so it was fun to watch him have fun and skiing & knee boarding. The boat had some throttle problems so we had to cut our trip short. My cousin, his little family, and his in laws were there for the weekend so we met up with them. They're little girl is 1.5 months older than Teyd so he had someone to play with!
